Southern Women's Community Health Centre is committed to changes which improve women's position and health both at the individual and the community level.
Services Available
- Counselling on a wide range of issues both through Quick Support (Monday -Wednesday 2 - 4pm and Friday 1 - 3pm) and ongoing counselling
- Advocacy for Housing Trust issues & Domestic Violence Counsellor's Reports - Wednesday 2 - 4 by appointment
- Health Information
- Lesbian Health Program - discusion and support groups
- Group work program that includes domestic violence support group, groups for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and that support social and emotional health and well being
- Community led groups including breast cancer support group, stretch and relax group and writing groups
- Drop-in pregnancy testing
- Needle Exchange
- Aboriginal Health Program
- Women's Library
- Resource Room for study & reading - computer available
- Saturday Friendship & Leisure Club
- Natural Therapies information sessions

- Providing talks on women's health to groups
