Rural Women's Telephone Counselling Service
The RWTCS offers a confidential information, referral and phone counselling service for women who live outside the metropolitan region.
The Rural Women's Telephone Counselling Service is staffed by one worker on a part time basis. Please phone our toll free number 1800 182 098 (TTY also) to make a time to speak with the worker. There may be a waiting period for ongoing counselling.
This service is offered to women on a wide range of issues. Privacy and confidentiality is ensured for callers to this service. It aims to overcome some of the disadvantages experienced by rural women including the need to travel to get a service.
