The Women's Healthline is a telephone and email service that provides up-to-date health information to women throughout South Australia.

About the service
A female Registered Nurse will respond to your phone call in a confidential and friendly manner. You will be able to discuss your health concerns thoroughly and be provided with up-to-date information and referrals. The nurse can spend anything from 5 minutes to an hour with you depending on the nature of your query. Every attempt will be made to answer your call on the same day. If the Healthline is engaged you can leave a message on the voicemail, or with Reception and the nurse will return your call as soon as possible.
The Healthline also acts as the intake point for women seeking counselling at WHS. Counselling services at WHS are intended for women whose mental health may have been affected by violence and as a result are experiencing anxiety, depression or disordered eating.
Requests for health information via email will be answered within 3 working days. Your emails will be maintained confidentially within the organisation for 7 years as required under SA legislation.
