Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Project
The project is part of a national strategy to provide education about FGM and the state laws that ban its practice. South Australia has an education program for communities that practise female circumcision. The education program also offers training to service providers to help them to provide better services for women and girls who are circumcised.
Women and men from different communities are helping with education and training for communities and workers.
